Booklets & Brochures
A straightforward, reliable and bespoke booklet printing service that delivers on time, every time. Perfect for sports, theatre and event programmes, local directories, newsletters and reports. We print to your exact specifications, not just standard sizes.
Plus-Cover Booklets
You’ll need to add covers if your booklet is going to be perfect bound (with the pages glued into place at the spine). Adding covers to your booklet gives you the option to add decorative specialist print finishes (such as foiling, embossing and spot-gloss UV varnish). By adding lamination you can also prevent cracking along the fold line, so your booklet will stay looking pristine for longer.
Self-Cover Booklets
Self-cover booklets use the same paper stock and weight throughout. They have the advantage of being more economical, but they’re also less durable without the protection of a thicker cover or lamination. Their print quality is still excellent. Please ask if you’re not sure which paper weight or stock to use. We’ll be happy to advise.
Our clients range from small local businesses to well-known names and premium brands across a wide range of sectors. Seventy percent of our clients are print professionals, and that’s because we’re good at what we do.
Eye-catching brochures, annual reports, school prospectuses, and product catalogues - all produced with care and attention to detail.
We’re able to offer gloss lamination, matt lamination, and anti-scuff laminate for added protection and durability. Other popular, decorative specialist finishes we provide include spot gloss UV varnish, foiling, and embossing.
If you’re not sure which print finishing options will deliver the result you’re looking for at a price to match your budget, we're here to help!
Tips & Tricks
If your booklet includes lots of photographs and images, choose a coated paper (silk, or gloss). The glossy finish will reflect the light and make your images appear more vibrant.
Make sure the paper stock you select supports the brand perception you want to achieve. We can help by sending you paper samples. Just ask.If you want your brochure, prospectus or catalogue to lie flat when you open it out, we recommend you saddle stitch (staple) binding.
Be aware that once you get beyond 64-80 pages (depending on the paper stock) your brochure or catalogue will become too bulky to fold neatly using saddle stitch binding.
If you’re producing a high-end brochure or annual report and the spine will be at least 3mm wide, perfect binding will add to the perception of quality, authority and professionalism.
With perfect bound brochures, make sure your designer prepares the artwork so that page content isn’t sucked into the spine and images that spread across adjacent pages aren’t distorted.
If you have a high page count or choose paper stock of 130 gsm or more, we recommend PUR binding, for a more robust and durable brochure or catalogue.
Print is a tactile, sensual experience. Your decision on paper stock needs to reflect the feeling and perception you want to achieve with your publication.
